The information and technology company Aiimi have agreed a new ten year lease for over 10,000 sq ft of 100 Avebury.
Aiimi uses the latest AI and data science technology to manage information and create insights for businesses. With a revenue of over £10 million and multinational clients such as Jaguar Land Rover and Anglian Water, Aiimi has outgrown its office in London and is looking to expand.
In CEO Steve Salvin’s words: “This is an exciting time for Aiimi as we progress towards the next stage of growing the company. We plan to hire 100 data experts over the next three years, and turn our new office into a state-of-the-art Hack Zone and Data Hub. We chose Milton Keynes because it’s only thirty minutes away from London, and within close proximity to the two giants Oxford and Cambridge. We will also be investing in talent from some fantastic local institutions like the Bletchley Park Institute of Technology with its prestigious history of codebreaking and Milton Keynes College. We look forwards to what the future holds.”
Besides its powerful consulting wing, Aiimi has its own IP called InsightMaker. Developed by their in-house Lab team, InsightMaker is a unique discovery platform that uses artificial intelligence to quickly and securely manage information for clients. It can be used for a range of functions including categorising PII for GDPR purposes, managing export control documents, enterprise search and as a data science platform. Recent achievements using InsightMaker include categorising over 400 million documents for Jaguar Land Rover and helping Rolls-Royce process their export control documents 500 times faster.
Aiimi has worked with multinational clients such as (to name a few): Jaguar Land Rover, Glencore, Liberty Mutual, Rolls-Royce, Northumbrian Water, Smith & Williamson, Wesleyan, Aegis, the Department for International Development, Anglian Water and United Utilities. Their presence will undoubtedly be a boost to the Milton Keynes business landscape, and help local talent get a foothold in the data and technology industry.
CBRE and Avison Young are calling 100 Avebury; “The most successful speculative office building of its size in the South East”. An incredible achievement for AW James at a time of such political and economic uncertainty.
AW James looks set to achieve its goals of 100% pre-let on building completion and is hoping that this will provide the catalyst for further investment by the company in new mixed use office and retail development in Central Milton Keynes.
