Northamptonshire Business Awards 2019 finalists

All Things Business are delighted to announce the finalists for the 2019 Northamptonshire Business Awards (NBAs). Each finalist had a surprise in the post during the last week of September; a personalised video brochure which was sure to put a smile on the face of each finalist. The feedback of these bespoke gifts has been incredible and seen across social media. Entries closed on the 14th August, with hundreds of up-and-coming businesses and established large brands across the county entering the range of categories. An independent scoring panel read and scored each of the entries. An average score was taken, which created a shortlist for the independent judging panel, who had the toughest job of all, due to the calibre of incredible local businesses who entered. The independent judging panel has a wealth of knowledge and industry experience as Dr Mairi Watson and Simon Longhurst from the University of Northampton returned from the inaugural awards last year, and they were joined by Sarah Middleton and Laura Giddings from RS Components. Yvette Lamidey, Chair of SEMLEP Growth Hub Board, made her debut and was supported by Victoria Miles DL, Chief Executive of Northamptonshire Community Foundation and John Harley, Chairman at ACS Office Solutions. The winners will be announced at the much anticipated awards celebration taking place on Thursday 7th November, at Northamptonshire County Cricket Club.

Ben Thomas, All Things Business said: “The feedback from the judges is that the standard of entries has been exceptionally high, and there were 3 categories in particular that was exceptionally competitive. Northamptonshire is a wonderful place to live, work, learn and play and we have a huge pool of talented businesses and individuals. We will recognise and celebrate all of the finalists on 7th November in what will be the flagship business event for the county for 2019.”
