PTS encourage the local community to get involved in National Apprenticeship Week

Northampton based PTS Training Academy are encouraging parents, teachers, employers and young people to get involved in National Apprenticeship Week.

Based on Moulton Park, PTS Training Academy specialise in Apprenticeships and are official sponsors of Northampton Town Football Club. They are hoping that this year’s National Apprenticeship Week will raise awareness on how beneficial and important apprenticeships are.

National Apprenticeship Week will take place from 3rd February to 9th February, and for the first time, the week has been extended to include the weekend. This will give the apprenticeship community more opportunity to get involved with activities.

PTS will be hosting their own Twitter Q&A on Thursday 6th February. Tweet them @PTS_Academy throughout the day and ask them any questions that you have regarding apprenticeships, and the team will be on hand to answer all your queries.

Matthew Joyce, Chairman and Chief Operating Officer said: “This year we really want to drive the benefits of apprenticeships. National Apprenticeship Week gives us a chance to showcase the opportunities and future career prospects that apprenticeships offer. We have lots of apprentice opportunities right here in Northamptonshire, so we are hoping our Twitter Q&A will help the local community to gain a better understanding of apprenticeships.

“Here at PTS Training, we really value our apprentices and many students have gone on to succeed in their chosen profession. Apprenticeships allow you to gain real work experience whilst earning a living, receiving qualifications and increasing future earning potential.”

National Apprenticeship Week is an annual week-long celebration across England that recognises apprentices while highlighting the benefits to other employers. This is the 13th year that National Apprenticeship Week has been running and this year’s theme will be “Look Beyond”.

During the week you can also get involved by following @Apprenticeships on Twitter or using the #NAW2020 hashtag.
