Optimised Visitor Management system is going down a STORM

A company in Milton Keynes is helping organisations to tighten up security and emergency procedures and stop unlawful data breaches with the introduction of a single product.

STORM Office Solutions, which is a leading independent provider of digital office equipment, is an official partner of electrical products manufacturer Sharp. This partnership has enabled the company to launch the Optimised Visitor Management system to its customers.

This smart, secure and easy to use platform allows organisations to manage guest, employee and contractor registration efficiently. By simply tapping the screen, visitors can sign themselves in and out very quickly and easily. Once signed in, the system automatically prints an identification badge which, thanks to an in-built camera, can include a photo of the visitor. The system also notifies the relevant employee that their guests have arrived by sending a text/email alert to their device of choice.

Unlike a traditional signing-in book, guests’ personal data is stored securely and out of sight and it’s also able to capture vital guest consents for data protection, making it fully compliant with GDPR regulations.

The system also allows companies to track the flow of people on site, which is vital if there’s an emergency, as nobody is left unaccounted for. In fact, in an emergency, the system contacts all guests via text/email and provides them with evacuation details. Couriers can also drop off deliveries using the system, which notifies the recipient their order has arrived, without bothering any other staff.

Despite only being launched at the end of October, STORM Office Solutions has already supplied a number of its clients with the Optimised Visitor Management system and taken enquiries from many more.

STORM Managing Director, Sam Bendall, said: “This signing in system really is a wonderful solution and it is easy to see why so many clients are getting excited by it. As soon as we demonstrate what it can do, they realise it’s something they can’t do without.

“This Optimised Visitor Management system allows businesses to create a great first impression with important visitors, whilst delivering a more reliable, safer and more efficient working environment for staff and guests.”

The system comes in three different options to suit every type of organisation and its needs. STORM Office Solutions’ friendly team can quickly work out what these needs are and recommend the best option for the client.

Established by Sam in 2016, STORM Office Solutions provides the latest technology in photocopying and printing solutions whilst working with some of the world’s leading manufacturers including Xerox, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Lexmark and Ricoh.

Operating from Warren Park in Milton Keynes, the company already delivers printing and copying solutions to more than 300 companies, both nationally and internationally, and plans to continue its fast growth by concentrating on growing its local presence and working with more major brands and key players in the Milton Keynes community.

The company is also a partner sponsor of MK Dons FC, supplying the stadium and hotel with all its photocopying, printing, franking and wide format equipment, along with print management software and consumables. Other local clients include Milton Keynes Pressings, Seko Logistics, BI Worldwide, Fossil and Pinders Professional to name a few.
