This smart, secure and easy to use platform allows organisations to manage guest, employee and contractor registration efficiently. By simply tapping the screen, visitors can sign themselves in and out very quickly and easily. Once signed in, the system automatically prints an identification badge which, thanks to an in-built camera, can include a photo of the visitor. The system also notifies the relevant employee that their guests have arrived by sending a text/email alert to their device of choice.
Unlike a traditional signing-in book, guests’ personal data is stored securely and out of sight and it’s also able to capture vital guest consents for data protection, making it fully compliant with GDPR regulations.
The system also allows companies to track the flow of people on site, which is vital if there’s an emergency, as nobody is left unaccounted for. In fact, in an emergency, the system contacts all guests via text/email and provides them with evacuation details. Couriers can also drop off deliveries using the system, which notifies the recipient their order has arrived, without bothering any other staff.
Despite only being launched at the end of October, STORM Office Solutions has already supplied a number of its clients with the Optimised Visitor Management system and taken enquiries from many more.
