Cafe Track nominated for national diversity award

We were delighted to find out that Café Track has been nominated for a National Diversity Award. As a social enterprise TRACK NN is supporting people across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes to access employment through training, support and creating opportunities.

During 2019 we supported over 25 people into paid employment and a further 50 people into work experience placements. Whilst Café Track is currently closed it has been brilliant to see many of our trainees still helping the community in different ways either through volunteering or baking cakes for NHS staff.

Whilst we do not do this for awards, it would be great if you could vote for us and help raise awareness of Cafe Track and TRACK NN Limited. Here are just a few of the comments we have received so far, which means even more than usual at the moment & Cafe Track are nothing short of incredible - they provide an invaluable service not only to those with autism but to the wider community as well. Having visited the cafe a number of times, it is clear to see the impact it is having on those individuals with autism that work there who are gaining confidence and learning crucial skills to enable them to progress into the working environment & “Cafe Track is a fantastic social enterprise which is committed to breaking down employment barriers for people on the autism spectrum. This is a cause I respect and admire immensely”

“Cafe Track has helped, not just my son but all of us as a family. Before Cafe Track started my son would be unable to go out to a restaurant/cafe to eat or drink as the noise, waiting and social aspect would be too much. Now we can go out as a family to a place my son can feel safe and be himself”
