Whittlebury Park promotes ‘wellness at work’ at Event Organisers Showcase Day

There is no denying that the health and wellbeing of a workforce is an extremely important theme currently influencing every industry. After all, a happy employee goes hand in hand with greater success and productivity levels. As an award-winning conference and training centre, Whittlebury Park recognises the importance of putting ‘wellness at work’ at the forefront of a companies’ strategy and is striving to provide every business with the tools and platform to do just this.

As part of its latest mission to embrace and offer insight into a happy and healthy workplace, Whittlebury Park recently opened its doors to new and existing clients, giving them a chance to experience a host of stand-out corporate packages on offer. The ‘Event Organisers Showcase Day’ was jam-packed full of team-building activities and techniques. From a heart-racing tablet treasure hunt to a peaceful breathing and stretching session, there was something for everyone to enjoy and learn. Additionally, all guests were treated to a healthy breakfast, three-course lunch and tasty treats throughout the day - the perfect accompaniment to any productive meeting or event.

In recognition of the fact that many companies want any time out of the office to be spent in a meaningful way, Whittlebury Park also used this opportunity to highlight the opportunities available for companies to customise their own packages. Throughout the day guests were able to experience a variety of outdoor events, including a climbing wall, archery and axe throwing, clay pigeon shooting and quad biking. Competitive challenges were on the agenda too, providing every participant with a well-rounded insight into exactly what is available to suit their business needs.

An Event Manager from a local charity organisation was among those attending the annual showcase: “It was an amazing day brought together by helpful staff. There were lots of people on hand to ask any questions I had and it was lovely to network with all the team. It’s certainly a brilliant way to see what great things Whittlebury Park has to offer for charities.”

After an insightful and fun-filled day all guests were then given the opportunity to discover what else Whittlebury Park has to offer including a complimentary spa session in the stunning Whittlebury Spa with 32 treatment rooms, a heat and ice experience and indoor pool or a round of golf on the championship golf course.
