How To Get Your Business Noticed In 2022

February 16, 2022

Business

Marketing plans have been thoroughly disrupted in the past two years. Some people have scaled back, some have increased their spend – and there’s not necessarily a right or wrong answer to what approach is the best for your company.

Working closely with the business communities of Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire, we have certainly noticed a change in approaches to marketing. Sometimes marketing is looked at as a luxury rather than a necessity. Brand awareness and the people within your business are now some of the main focuses that achieve the highest traction.

Here are some of our best tips on how to get your business noticed this year:

Get featured in a publication

Getting your business featured in a business publication, whether print or online, helps you reach a wider audience. It increases your brand awareness and exposes your business to potential customers and clients.

Traditionally, we have always been a printed publication but in 2020, we had to adapt to a new way of the world. Did we stop printing? No, in fact, we printed more and made our publications available to even more people.

We understand how businesses benefit from getting featured in our publication. So we created a fully interactive online version. We invested in the best platform available, where we could embed video, where all links are live and gave our audience something different rather than nothing at all. Alongside this we increased our social presence and in 2021 we reached over 1.3 million individuals across our social platforms – which also increased the exposure of businesses.

Use the power of social media

We will always be champions of a printed publication and will continue to use this method to give local businesses a platform to promote themselves to a business audience. However, we also understand that our demographic is changing and we need other ways to showcase all of our clients.

You may have seen me say we are more than just a publication, by this I mean we are able to promote brands not only in print but also online within our monthly e-shots, our website and across four social media platforms.

Social media has become a powerful tool to get your business in front of potential clients. It gives brands the perfect opportunity to connect and engage with their audience.

Become a guest speaker on a podcast

Another great way to get your business noticed this year is to become a guest speaker on a podcast. Speaking on a business podcast gives brands not only the opportunity to showcase their expertise but it also opens the door to connect with a new audience.

If you’re looking to gain more coverage, the All Things Business Podcast, will help you do just that as we showcase and promote our podcast via video and audio to an even wider audience.

Conclusion

One thing that will always remain is brand awareness and repetition. What I mean by this is that showcasing your brand on a regular basis will give prospective clients the chance to learn about your business, and when they require services that you provide they will engage further with you.

The way to promote yourself is changing, whether this is video, informative articles or adverts, your business needs to be at the forefront.
