Bedford Blues would like to place on record its thanks to its wonderful #BluesFamily who have smashed through the club’s crowdfunding target as it returns to Championship action.
Raising over £75,000 online through the platform, and an additional £25,000 privately, the club is delighted to announce an incredible total of £100,000 has been secured from its supporters.
This figure will go a long way to covering the additional costs incurred for COVID testing, protocols and operational costs to compete in this season’s shortened competition.
As an additional thank you on behalf of the club, everyone who has donated to the crowdfunder will have their name embossed into the background of next season’s playing jerseys for the 2021/22 campaign.
While the club has always known that the Blues Family are the best and most generous supporters in the Championship, this campaign has again highlighted the power of the Bedford community in demonstrating why it is the envy of the rest of the league.
The club is urging supporters to take advantage of live streaming all Bedford Blues matches this season, as it plans to emerge stronger from this challenging past 12 months and enter its 135th year as the town’s club with the fans right behind it.
Sponsorship opportunities remain available across all facets of the club including pitch side advertising hoardings, and many more digital and new media opportunities.
Away from the first-team, bespoke opportunities are available to sponsor Blues Community projects, Blues Foundation or the Bedford Blues Women’s Team.
