Sparkling new products add a touch of glamour

Having built a reputation for high-quality plastering, drylining and rendering, ACE Drylining in Wellingborough have recently added some sparkle and glamour to their portfolio.

As well as providing reliable and superior quality drylining services for homes, offices and commercial premises, ACE Drylining is now offering GlamRend, a new decorative render with virtually endless possibilities.

GlamRend comes in 25 different colours, giving hundreds of different colour combinations, each of which can be used with colour glitters and holograms to give a unique look as well as a durable, waterproof finish. The render can be used instead of tiles to give bathrooms or kitchens a stunning finish, or to add a wow factor to exterior pillars, sills or porches.

The new service complements the company’s drylining, plastering, rendering and suspended ceiling installation offering – services that have established a strong customer base due to the firm’s reliability, competitive pricing and a focus on sticking to deadlines and getting a job completed on time.

Mick Garside, who founded ACE Drylining with business partner Ricky Cooper in 2016, explained: “Most of our work is plastering, drylining and rendering for domestic and business clients but we’ve added a couple of new products that are proving popular with customers.

“GlamRend was developed by a Liverpool firm and because it has to be professionally applied to a perfectly prepared and smoothed surface, it can only be used by those who have completed the training course. We wanted to get involved because it is an amazing product to use if you want something special for a feature wall or in a shower unit. It can be used internally or externally, in place of tiles, because it’s fully waterproof and durable, and there’s almost endless colour combinations so you can match up to existing colour schemes or kitchen and bathroom units.”

Expertise with buildings and their preparation and finishing touches has also led ACE Drylining into the world of garden buildings. In line with increased customer demand since working habits began changing during and after lockdown, the firm has this year started offering a range of buildings that could potentially be used for anything from a home office or for storage through to a summer house or pub shed for chilling at home or entertaining.

“More people are working from home now, or spending more time at home in their gardens, and are looking for extra space to work or relax, so we’ve added a range of garden buildings they can choose from,” said Mick.
