Award-winning top regional law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys (HCR) and top-ranked Northampton firm Hewitsons have merged to bring their clients a greater range and depth of legal advice and expertise. The two firms came together in June and will be known locally as HCR Hewitsons.
Charlotte Thornton-Smith, who heads the Northampton office with Dominic Hopkins, said:
“The addition of Northampton to our regional network is one of the most exciting parts of this merger for me.
“I’m looking forward to working with the team as we expand the breadth and depth of the legal advice we can offer to clients together.”
Dominic Hopkins said:
“We have found a partner firm that shares our absolute focus on the client and providing opportunities for their team; joining with them will ensure our clients benefit from the even wider range of legal specialisms that their strong regional network can provide and our people will have enhanced opportunities. This is about becoming an even better version of ourselves.”
The merger brings the two firms together into a firm of approximately 780 people and £65m turnover, with a network of 11 offices nationally.
