A Kettering car air conditioning specialist has opened a new £1.5m car servicing garage, workshop and training facility, as an Automotive Centre of Excellence.
Bee Cool, which started as a one-man automotive operation 20 years ago, has transformed the site in Northfield Avenue into a specialist hub for car air conditioning systems, and a centre of excellence for car repairs and servicing under their two other brands, Eurorepar and Petrolheadonism Performance.
Founded by Chairman David Fry, Bee Cool began in Higham Ferrers, moved to Burton Latimer, expanded to Kettering and, due to business growth, has now moved into its new headquarters.
Employing 11 staff, the new centre will offer air conditioning expertise from family cars to Formula GT Race Cars, as well as offering MOTs, repairs and servicing.
David Fry said:
“It’s a £1.5m investment and it’s been a lot of hard work. I’ve gone from a one-man-band to this. We have 11 employees, 16 vehicle repair bays as well as offices, a training centre, and an in-house welding workshop where we make prototypes for Tier 1 manufacturers.
“We are fully trained, licensed, and insured to work on all aspects of vehicle air conditioning systems including electric vehicles (EV) and hybrid vehicles.
“Whether you have a family run-around, or a £1m Formula GT Racecar and everything in between, including farmers tractors, HGVs and large plant machinery we do it all.”
