It’s coming home

By the time this goes to print, the Euros football tournament may be a distant memory, either for better or for worse, but Wilson Browne Solicitors would like to think that something else is coming home.

For the last couple of years, the Northamptonshire Law Society Law Firm Of The Year Award has had its ‘home’ at Wilson Browne Solicitors and the team are thrilled to make it a third successive year… so yes, in their eyes at least, it’s coming home.

The stresses and strains on all law firms has been immense (let’s not forget that law firms have been duty bound to provide access to legal help and advice throughout the pandemic, even during the darkest days of the early total lockdown) so to be recognised by one’s peers is a great honour.

The award recognises a number of things, such as client care, staff welfare and development, growth in reputation and (especially important) work and investment in the community.

The firm recognised early on the need to offer reassurance to clients and potential clients many of whom were concerned, or even frightened, about the situation and worried they may not be able to access essential legal advice and services. Offices remained open whilst adhering strictly to government guidelines

The firm has continued to deliver excellence not just in terms of legal advice but in client care, securing a Feefo Platinum award – the highest possible (Feefo is an independent, verified review service).

Little touches such as sending cake, Bonfire Night treats, Christmas gingerbread men etc set the firm apart as one that thinks about its clients and has done so consistently through the turmoil of the pandemic.  Even Wilson Bear has become a minor celeb in his own right – people have really taken to him, and he helps show Wilson Browne as a professional but friendly firm.

Jamie Christie – Junior Lawyer Of The Year.

Jamie Christie started working for Wilson Browne as the office junior and quickly showed his potential, coupled with his calm and friendly manner. Many of Jamie’s clients have contacted the firm to show their gratitude for the advice provided and work completed for them.

Jamie has also completed the course to become a Dementia Champion for Wilson Browne, its clients and local businesses to help create dementia-friendly communities and, since 2019, has created close to 200 Dementia Friends.

In such a challenging year, the firm is rightly proud of its achievements, those of Jamie, and every single member of the Wilson Browne team who has contributed in their own way to this award.
