Following the government’s easing of COVID restrictions, Bedford Blues are pleased to announce that full hospitality options in the 2021/22 Championship campaign have been confirmed.
While a restricted number of fans were present for the Battle of Bedfordshire victory over Ampthill back in May, it has been nearly 18 months since supporters were last through the turnstiles at Goldington Road in their droves and the club is delighted to be able to welcome everybody back for this campaign.
With the addition of The Burrow at the Blues earlier this year, Bedford’s premier sporting club now has five premium hospitality options available in a range of different price categories, catering for solitary bookings all the way up to parties of a maximum of 25.
Blues Marquee
With exclusive tables available for eight to 10 people and individual bookings also welcome, the Blues Marquee offers a relaxed and informal pre-match dining experience, including a two or three-course pre-match luncheon (vegetarian and gluten-free options are available) and a complimentary matchday programme.
Guests also have access to a raised viewing area running the length of the marquee and will enjoy a pre-match address by players, and then post-match entertainment.
Confirmation on tables is required by the Wednesday preceding the match, and prices start at £24 including VAT per person, excluding entry to the ground
The Dovecote Park Suite
With premium catering and a private balcony and viewing area over the pitch, The Dovecote Park Suite has been recently refurbished and offers supporters a more exclusive hospitality experience.
A welcome drink of prosecco is followed by a three-course premium meal, provided by Portfolio Catering, followed by savoury and sweet treats at full-time. Guests will enjoy a welcome address by management and players and a complimentary matchday programme, satellite TV screens throughout the suite, and then a post-match player visit.
There’s a private shared bar and suite facility, with a table reserved for the day, table service throughout the day and a drinks pre-order service.
The cost, for a maximum of 10 guests per table, is £650 + VAT for a table of 10
The Burrow at the Blues
Located in the south east corner of Goldington Road, the newest hospitality venue, The Burrow at the Blues, offers a unique vantage point of Bedford’s premier sporting club.
The one-course casual dining option includes a complimentary matchday programme and a stunning pitch view, with a viewing gallery running the length of The Burrow. There’s a cash bar facility and a reserved table of any size can be secured for the whole day.
There will be pre-match entertainment with the players, and a post-match player visit.
The Burrow at the Blues costs from £40 including VAT per person and includes a match ticket.
The Larry Webb Room
A private room adjacent to the Eagle Bar, the Larry Webb Room offers hospitality for up to 14 guests surrounded by club history and memorabilia, and designated seats in the Eagle Stand.
A private room and bar, with satellite TV throughout, is available from noon till 7pm, including a four-course pre-match luncheon and designated seats in the Charles Wells stand.
Each guest will receive a complimentary matchday programme and enjoy a pre-match address by a club directors and players and a visit from players after the match.
The cost of the room is £750 plus VAT per match, irrespective of numbers, up to a maximum of 14.
SDC Suite
With a choice of sit-down dining for up to 12 or a buffet for 20-25 guests, the SDC Suite is a private suite with bar facilities and satellite TV. Bespoke catering packages from a four course meal to premium buffet are available and the private suite is secured from noon to 7pm.
All guest receive a complimentary matchday programme and access to a private raised terrace viewing area for up to 25 people.
There will be a pre-match address by management and players, plus a visit from players after the match.
The SDC suite costs from £900 plus VAT per match.
