Partying in the 2020s hasn’t been the best so far, so this year the team at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa are calling on the glamour and glitz of the 1920s to get everyone into the festive spirit for Christmas.
With everyone keen to make the most of this year’s party season and make up for lost time with family, friends and colleagues, the Kettering hotel is channelling the Roaring Twenties theme and transporting guests back to the world of The Great Gatsby and the jazz age, with cocktails, classy foods and feather boas.
Getting under way on Friday, November 26 and then each Friday and Saturday evening until Saturday, December 18, the party evenings will start with a Chicago fizz cocktail before a three-course dinner, music and dancing or just a chance to sit and catch up, before late night snacks until the taxis arrive, or, even better heading up to your room should you choose to add an overnight stay.
Prices for party nights are £59.95 per person for Friday evenings and £64.95 per person for Saturday.
Throughout December, Kettering Park Hotel & Spa will be serving Festive Lunches from noon to 2.30pm and Festive Dinners Sunday to Thursday. Lunch is priced at £23.95 per adult and £12 per child under 12; while Dinner is £29.95 per adult and £15 per child.
As well as the traditional turkey, the menu includes a selection of starters, mains of slow cooked, aged roast Brooklyn beef or winter vegetable and Brie filo pastry parcel, and desserts including the hotel’s award-winning Thwaites Ale Christmas pudding.
Away from the festive party atmosphere, Friday and Saturday evenings will also offer a Restaurant Dinner with Jess Annalee, including a welcome drink, a candlelit dinner from the a la carte menu, and entertainment from top singer, Jess. For more information email reception@ketteringparkhotel.co.uk
Festive Afternoon Tea is an ideal way to spend time with friends and family. Designed to showcase the season with beautiful cakes and sweet treats, afternoon tea starts at £24.95 per person.
On Sundays in December, Santa’s Sunday Lunch includes a three-course meal as well as a visit from Santa and a gift for children under 12 years, and costs £29.95 for adults and £16 for children two to 12 years.
For groups or business events, Celebration Dinners can be arranged, with the event space, menu, drinks and entertainment all bespoke to individual needs, whether for a company or a gathering of family and friends. The Events Team are happy to discuss a proposal and arrange rates and dates on a bespoke basis.
Kettering Park Hotel & Spa is famous for its Christmas Day lunch, which begins with champagne and canapes, followed by a five-course lunch, and ends with a visit from Santa, during which the children will receive a gift. The cost for adults is £112 per person and £56 per child.
Christmas packages with overnight stays are available, starting at £315 per person, and New Year’s Eve promises to be special once again, when a Scottish piper will get the evening under way before a five-course dinner, music until the clock chimes midnight and everyone welcomes in 2022 before retiring to their overnight accommodation ready for a leisurely breakfast the following morning. The New Year’s Eve package is £199 per person and is only available for over 18s.
