There’s plenty of fun in store for finalists, sponsors and guests at this year’s Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards after the announcement that this year’s host will be actor, comedian and TV presenter, Paddy McGuinness.
Paddy, who rose to fame working alongside Peter Kay on shows like That Peter Kay Thing, Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere, will take to the stage at the ceremony on November 10 at the County Ground to announce the 14 category winners and present them with their trophies.
Paddy, who has gone on to become a household name as the presenter of hit shows including Take Me Out and Top Gear, and as the new host of Question of Sport, will introduce the finalists for each of the awards, which include New Business of the Year, the Land and Development Award, the Innovation Award and Employer of the Year.
Ben Thomas from awards organisers All Things Business, said: “We are delighted that Paddy has agreed to join us at the awards ceremony this year and add his own unique humour to what promises to be a fantastic event.
“Entries opened in March and the response has been fantastic, and there’s still plenty of time for more Northamptonshire companies to showcase themselves at the biggest and best awards night in the calendar.”
