Bedford Blues have announced that matchday tickets for all home 2022/23 league and cup fixtures are now available to purchase online at discounted rates.
London Scottish will be the first visitors of the regular campaign in the club’s only home fixture in September, on Saturday, September 17, which will also play host to the Family Fun Day.
After a scaled down version in the Championship Cup last season, Ladies Day will return like those of yesteryear as Blues face Caldy for the first time on October 1.
The club then welcomes Hartpury University on Saturday October 22, a match which also plays host to the Former Players Luncheon in the Blues Marquee.
Attention will then turn to the Championship Cup when old rivals Coventry head to town on November 11, followed by the visit of of Nottingham on December 3, which will bring with it the club’s Christmas celebrations and festivities.
There’s no better place to be than the rugby on Boxing Day and the visit of neighbours Ampthill will mark the halfway point in the Championship season, with Mike Rayer’s side hopeful of repeating the dramatic scenes from 2021.
Cornish Pirates will be first to venture to Goldington Road in the New Year (January 21) before the focus again turns to the cup and the conclusion of the pool stage with home fixtures against London Scottish on February 3 and Doncaster Knights February 18.
Steve Boden’s Knights visit again on March 3, this time in the league, for the first of two Friday Night Lights fixtures in March as Richmond travel from the capital two weeks later.
April is a packed month at Goldington Road as the league season concludes. The visits of last year’s champions Ealing Trailfinders on April 1, Jersey Reds (April 15) and Coventry (April 29) ensure plenty to entertain from the home of Bedford’s premier sporting club.
Blues are also set to host the Mobbs Memorial Fixture this year and will release details on this fixture shortly.
