It’s going to be all go in the run-up to Christmas, which is all the more reason to make sure you take some time out to relax and enjoy the festive build-up with family and friends.
Kettering Park Hotel has a number of options, whether it’s a quiet afternoon tea or a pre-holiday lunch with colleagues or friends.
The Festive Afternoon Tea features a host of savoury and sweet treats carefully designed by the kitchen team and includes pork, blue cheese and sage sausage roll; smoked salmon quiche and sandwiches, as well as plain and mincemeat fruit scones with jam and clotted cream; pistachio and chocolate Battenburg; prune, Armagnac and walnut tartlet; chocolate Yule log and a mandarin macaron.
Festive Afternoon Tea is available at £29.95 per person, or with champagne at £37.95 per person.
Throughout December, from Monday to Friday, the Kettering Parkway hotel will be serving Festive Lunches and Dinners. Perfect for a smaller celebration with a group of work colleagues, friends or a family get-together, lunch costs £27.95 for adults and £12.95 for children under 12, while dinner is £32.95 for adults and £16.45 for children.
Offering traditional with a twist, the menu includes roasted celeriac, aged white port and chive soup; caramelised onion and goat’s cheese tart and poached crayfish and prawn salad for starters. Mains are butter roasted British turkey paupiette; slow cooked aged blade of beef and crisp filo pastry vegetable Wellington.
For dessert, guests can choose from Thwaites Award-Winning Ale sticky plum pudding; chocolate and caramel delice and a best of British cheese selection.
Father Christmas Sunday Lunches will be served on December 4, 11 and 18 and cost £34.95 per adult and £17.45 for children under 12. Father Christmas himself is scheduled to drop in during lunch to say hello and bring a gift for each child.
Friday and Saturday evenings in the run-up to Christmas offer a Restaurant Dinner featuring Kettering Park Hotel house specialities, accompanied by live music from some of the best local talent.
