All Bedford Blues Women’s fixtures until the end of the calendar year are now on sale as Eddie Rennell and Peter Frost’s side look for a strong campaign at NC2 Midlands (South) Division level in 2023/24.
After a permanent move to Goldington Road over the summer as their full-time training and matchday hub, the squad will be looking to continue their upwards trajectory as they target promotion in the coming season.
With new sides to face, as well as some familiar foes, the sky is the limit for the squad, who have looked impressive at HQ during pre-season and recorded some inspired performances in warm-up competitions.
Included in the ticket release is the news that Blues Women have been drawn at home in the First Round of the Junior Cup (Sunday, October 1), and will have a chance at redemption when facing the side who knocked them out at the same stage 12 months ago, St Neots.
This now becomes the first home match of the season following the disappointing news that Biggleswade & Royston have pulled out of the league and therefore those fixtures scheduled for early in the season will now not take place.
The cup clash is followed by one of the most important fixtures of the entire season as the other title favourites, Milton Keynes, head to town later in October.
Into November and new opponents when facing Buckingham Swans II and Harpenden – completing the list for this year is Hitchin II a week before Christmas.
Bedford Blues Season Ticket Holders are entitled to free admission into every single home fixture this season for the women’s team, and should simply bring their membership card/code with them to the gates on the day for entry.
Adult tickets purchased online are £2 cheaper than matchday prices.
