KRW Accountants was established in 2009, and we have been passionate about delivering the highest level of service to our clients ever since, via expert tax advice and embracing and implementing technology into our clients’ finance functions.
We have been trailblazers in our industry since day one, being one of the early adopters of Xero which we knew would be a game changer for businesses. We’ve been offering free set-up and initial training on Xero to our clients for over a decade and we are proud to be a Platinum Advisor. This complements the trusted accounting, tax and business advice we provide to our clients, to offer them the perfect blend of experience, knowledge and a modern forward-thinking approach.
KRW Accountants offers the full suite of services that you would expect to receive from an accountancy firm in 2023. As well as the usual compliance services, such as accounts and tax for both individuals and businesses, KRW also offers day-to-day support with payroll and bookkeeping, as well as auditing services for the larger clients that require it. More recently, KRW has also diversified and launched a financial planning arm, meaning we can now support our clients with their pensions and investments.
Over the last 14 years, we have stuck religiously to our core values to ensure the client experience remains unrivalled. As well as ensuring that our clients are running their business and personal finances as tax efficiently as possible, we also ensure they understand and take an interest in their accounts, because we strongly believe that having a tight grasp on your figures can make or break a business – so we make sure that we provide all the tools and information to achieve this.
We were incredibly proud to have once again been nominated for the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards this year. Having been finalists for the Professional Services Award in 2022, it was a fantastic achievement to go one step further this year and be named winners of the Accountancy Firm of the Year. The awards night lived up to the name, and none more so than in our category, where we were up against some highly respected competitors. This really made the awards feel even more reputable, due to the calibre of businesses we were up against.
As well as local recognition as winners at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards, we have also made a name for ourselves nationally since being named finalists of the UK Xero Awards in 2023 for the Total Xero award, which demonstrated our expertise in the tech side of our industry, as we strive to ensure we keep ahead of the curve in order to provide our clients with the best integrated software solutions for their business.
We know that the business would not have achieved what it has so far without the relentless work ethic of our ever-expanding team and we are keen to ensure that it is a two-way street. The team are given a generous benefits package, including a comprehensive well- being offering – recognising that our team are our greatest asset – and making KRW Accountants not only desirable for clients, but for staff members too.
Away from the office, we are trying to have a positive impact on our local community in other ways as well, including an initiative to try to drive more knowledge of tax, finance, and budgeting into students in years 12 and 13 in our local schools, to give them guidance on some basics of the subject, to try to get them to take an interest and gain a little understanding before they leave school. This initiative has led to other members of the KRW team also visiting schools to offer help and share their experiences with CV writing and interview techniques. As a team, we are passionate about supporting the next generation with their transition into the working world.
Our corporate responsibility doesn’t stop there, though. We have also teamed up with More:Trees, and now pledge to plant a tree for every client and member of staff that joins KRW, in addition to a monthly contribution to the project as well, just to ensure that there is more green to KRW than just our logo.
