As the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards 2026 move ever closer, taking place at Stadium MK on March 19, the focus remains on the theme of the awards for this year and the ever- present support of the headline sponsors.
Partnership working can be an incredible force that unlocks creativity, empowerment and growth, and Milton Keynes has this in spades. The myriad benefits that partnerships produce include reducing risks and maximising rewards, so, whether it is between individuals, organisations, regions, or even nations, working in partnership is often heralded as the foundation of sustainable growth and shared prosperity.
Ryan Peters, Managing & Commercial Director at Brioche Pasquier UK, one of the awards’ returning headline sponsors for 2026, discusses how this theme resonates with the company and how its deep involvement and commitment to the community in Milton Keynes has been a cornerstone of the organisation for so long.
You’ve now been a headline sponsor of the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards for many years, what encouraged Brioche Pasquier to return again for 2026?
Brioche Pasquier has always believed in supporting the communi- ties where we operate, and the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards are a fantastic celebration of local enterprise, innovation and collaboration. Returning as headline sponsor in 2026 felt like a natural continuation of our long-standing relationship with Milton Keynes and the event itself. The awards align closely with our values, and we are proud to champion the businesses, entrepreneurs and organisations that help make the city such a dynamic place to work and grow.
This year’s theme for MKBAA is The Power of Partnerships: Come Together to Achieve More – how does this theme resonate with Brioche Pasquier?
The theme resonates very strongly with us because partnership working is at the heart of Brioche Pasquier, from our relationships with suppliers and customers to our employees, charities and local organisations. We firmly believe that working together creates stronger outcomes than working alone. Collaboration allows ideas to flourish, challenges to be tackled more effectively, and long-term success to be shared which, I believe, perfectly reflects this year’s MKBAA theme.
Brioche Pasquier has been a big part of the Milton Keynes business community for over 10 years, how have you seen the city change over that time?
Over the past decade, Milton Keynes has grown into a thriving and diverse business hub. We’ve seen significant development in infra- structure, an expansion of skilled talent, and a rise in innovative, forward-thinking businesses. The city continues to attract ambitious organisations while maintaining a strong sense of community, which has helped create an environment where businesses like ours can invest, grow and feel genuinely connected.
It’s clear that charity partnerships are an important part
of the Brioche Pasquier story, how have these helped the company to grow and integrate into the local community?
Our charity partnerships play a vital role in helping us stay connected to the community beyond our day-to-day business operations. Supporting local and national charities allows our teams to engage in meaningful work, strengthens employee pride, and helps us give back to the area we call home. These relationships have deepened our understanding of local needs and reinforced our commitment to being a responsible, community-focused employer.
Can you give a few examples of how partnership working has benefited Brioche Pasquier both locally and nationally?
Locally, working closely with schools, charities and community groups has helped us develop talent, support wellbeing initiatives and build trust within Milton Keynes. Nationally, strong partner- ships with retailers, logistics providers and suppliers have enabled us to grow sustainably, innovate our product offering and maintain consistent quality across the UK. In every case, collaboration has helped us achieve more than we could alone.
What are you looking forward to most about the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards 2026?
We’re most looking forward to celebrating the achievements of the Milton Keynes business community and recognising the incredible people behind the success stories.
