The rise of EFM Plant is a story of strategic growth and specialised services in the transport industry. Established in 2021, EFM Plant is a division of EFM Distribution, expanding the company’s portfolio to meet the increasing demands for specialist transportation. With EFM already being a familiar name in the county, with 19 years of experience in the transport sector, the decision was made to harness this reputation with the inception of EFM Plant.
Founded by Managing Director Phil Minney, EFM is still family owned with family values at its core.
At the helm of EFM Plant is General Manager, Gavin Nix, a veteran in the transport industry with decades of experience both behind the wheel and the desk. Gavin’s understanding of customer needs and his dedication to professionalism and customer service have been instrumental in the division’s success. The journey began with two tractor units, but thanks to his extensive network and strong customer relationships, EFM Plant has swiftly grown into a diverse fleet of 15 vehicles ranging from articulated lorries to 4x4s, equipped to handle a variety of specialist transport needs.
