A Culinary Journey from Rural Tradition to Global Excellence

In the picturesque village of Les Cerqueux, in 1936, the tantalising aroma of freshly baked brioche first wafted through the air from Gabriel Pasquier’s boulangerie.

Since then, the actions of Gabriel’s five sons, who took the reins in 1974, have transformed the business from a family bakery into a renowned global brand, Brioche Pasquier, but the commitment to offering authentic recipes that seamlessly blend taste and indulgence has been the cornerstone of Brioche Pasquier’s journey.

Having expanded within France and then into Belgium, Italy and Spain, Brioche Pasquier came to the UK in 2015 when it opened its Milton Keynes operation. Growth has led to the expansion of that operation and the firm is currently doubling the number of production lines it runs, baking and packaging goods for distribution across the UK according to the methods, values and standards that have run through the company since 1936.

When Gabriel died in the Seventies, his sons decided to continue making his renowned brioche, patisserie and bread, but to sell it in a wrapper – a revolutionary idea in the traditional world of French boulangerie, but one that impressed the supermarkets and has continued to do so ever since.

In addition, for nearly three decades, the Brioche Pasquier group has been an unwavering presence in the professional catering domain, leveraging its expertise in bakery and authentic French patisserie. Now, it is taking that to new levels, with the introduction of an exclusive brand for professionals: Symphonie Pasquier, a harmonious selection that complements the expertise of chefs and restaurateurs worldwide. Symphonie Pasquier ensures the highest standards of service and the satisfaction of discerning guests, bringing the essence of France to every corner of the globe.

The range is suited to the dynamic needs of the profession, whether that’s a traditional chef, part of a catering business, a baker, pâtisserie chef, retailer, orfast-food operator, the range of frozen pâtisserie stands as a testament to a commitment to be with the customer at every step.

Ryan Peters, Managing Director at Brioche Pasquier in Milton Keynes, said: “Our pâtisserie know-how is steeped in the timeless traditions of kneading, proving, resting, and baking. The Symphonie Pasquier range captures those aspects of French patisserie that matter to the chef and their customers, it’s all about delicate artistry and intricate crafting, and the precise handling of pastry for perfect results.

“Our recipes stand the test of time, embodying the perfect blend of tradition and trend, ensuring consistently successful menus.”
