Adding a little glamour to decades of experience in construction and commercial fit-out, Bentley Rowe has recently completed a project to create a range of luxury glamping pods for a hotel client.
The pods, which offer self-contained, high-quality accommodation add another dimension for hotels and venues, landowners and farmers, or holiday lets that have space within the grounds to add a pod. Bentley Rowe specialises in commercial, hotel and gym, retail spaces and healthcare fit-outs and refurbishments. Services cover commercial interiors, structural modifications, mechanical and electrical installations, bespoke joinery and high-end finishes, and bespoke solutions can be delivered to suit specific requirements.
A more recent addition to the firm’s portfolio saw it move into the park homes sector, which led in turn to an interest in glamping pods. David Ainscow, Finance Director at Bentley Rowe, said: “We’ve just completed 14 glamping pods for a luxury spa client that regularly plays host to weddings, and this adds a new dimension.

“The bridal suite pod offers an indulgent experience, featuring a beautiful copper bath for the ultimate in relaxation and luxury. To make the day even more special, there’s also a dedicated bridal preparation pod – the perfect space for getting ready in style. Alongside these, we offer family pods, an accessible pod for guests with additional needs, and pods for the wedding party, bridesmaids, and friends. It creates a unique and memorable setting designed to bring comfort, elegance, and a touch of magic to a celebration.” “For the hotel, it’s a lot cheaper than constructing more bedrooms and because the pods are built and delivered on a trailer, the process is much more straightforward.”

Bentley Rowe, which employs around 30 people at its factory on the Parkfield Business Park in Rugby, has clients across the local region as well as nationally. The team brings together expertise across all trades, including a full bespoke joinery service – all under one roof. Offering a complete turnkey solution, the firm handles everything from initial concept and design to final installation. Creativity and innovation are at the heart of the business, supported by a strong focus on modern, efficient and sustainable construction methods that have driven its outstanding results.
Every aspect of a project, from initial ideas and conception through project management and construction to final handover can be handled within the team, meaning Bentley Rowe is able to deliver projects on time and within budget while ensuring the highest standards of construction and finish.
David added: “The involvement in park homes grew out of a client asking us to build a reception lodge for them, and the glamping pods came about from there.

“As well as hotels and venues, they’re very popular with farmers who want to diversify and make the best use of their land. And Air B&B providers who’ve got enough space can add pods within their gardens to add more sleeping space.
“There are numerous possibilities and we’re happy to discuss the options with any interested customers.”
