A perfect venue for business or pleasure

Jeyes of Earls Barton has sat proudly on The Square in Earls Barton for 43 years, blending history, flavour and hospitality. Today, Georgina, Pip and Anna Jeyes offer a place to shop, lunch and explore – dedicated to creating a remarkable Northamptonshire attraction.

The Apothocoffee Shop is a bustling hub that captures Northamptonshire’s growing buzz. Set out over a variety of six indoor and outdoor dining areas, the coffee shop has an extensive drinks and food menu, making it an ideal venue for everything from casual lunches, business meetings to special occasions.

Georgina Jeyes said: “As a family, we embraced our ancestor’s entrepreneurial flair by recreating the brand Jeyes’s Northamptonshire, established by Philadelphus Jeyes in 1852, producing various award-winning savoury and sweet products, all of which are celebrated across The Apothocoffee Shop menu.”

Passion for the family heritage and business shines through everything Georgina, Pip and Anna do – the trio are always up for a challenge and love collaborating with other local businesses.

Anna said: “We have various exciting collaborations happening this year which we can’t wait to get working on.”

The most recent development at Jeyes was the extension and refurbishment of The Garden Room after receiving a grant from North Northants Rural England Prosperity Fund.

Georgina said: “We felt it was time to breathe new life into one of The Apothocoffee Shop dining areas, and working closely with local builder, John Elderton, from Earls Barton Building Company, Pip, Anna and his team have done a fabulous job.”

Part of the redesign was to install windows to overlook The Moongate Garden and a door to allow easy access to the beautiful garden space.

Networking at its finest

Networking is about building genuine relationships with people, giving them the opportunity to connect and learn.

“We value the importance of people,” said Pip. “Investing in building relationships and creating new ideas together, so when Wellingborough School proposed hosting one of its termly Business Networking Meetings in The Garden Room we jumped at the chance. It was the perfect occasion to launch our newly refurbished Garden Room and showcase this space as a meeting, network or workshop venue for local businesses.”

The Garden Room at Jeyes can offer a professional private venue with warm hospitality and delicious catering options from The Apothocoffee Shop.

A bijou wedding awaits

2025 is set to be an exciting one for Jeyes of Earls Barton as it embarks on growing its events and wedding portfolio. Wedding trends are evolving, and more couples are looking to celebrate their love with family and friends in a smaller, intimate venue with a focus on relaxed and family-style food and atmosphere. Over the last few months, Pip and Anna have been connecting with local event and wedding businesses – listening and learning from their experiences and have teamed up with Karen from Serene Events UK and Megan from The Wedding Rooms to host the first Events & Wedding Showcase at Jeyes of Earls Barton.

Together, they have designed the perfect day for newly engaged couples, friends and families to attend, showcasing some of the best wedding suppliers Northamptonshire has to offer. For anyone planning their big day or looking for a special celebration venue, Jeyes is the perfect choice.

Georgina, Pip and Anna Jeyes and their popular attraction in the heart of Earls Barton stand as a testament to family heritage, entrepreneurial spirit and a deep-rooted love for food, drink and retail. So whether you are planning a day out, a special event or a business trip, you will not be disappointed.
