Holiday Inn Corby/Kettering has begun the construction of a new leisure and adventure area within the grounds of the venue.
The woodlands area, which has been designed by Greenspan Projects Limited, will feature an 18-hole adventure golf course and aerial high ropes and will be managed by Jamie Jackson.
The feature will aim to become the first of its kind in Corby, emphasising the hotel’s commitment to keep and enhance the nature surrounding the whole development. The entire area will be regularly independently tested and certified to ensure it is a safe, fun environment for all ages.
With adventure golf, an aerial assault course and 41-metre zip wire, the adventure area will be ideal for corporate team-building days – giving employees a day of friendly competition and a feel-good event to remember.
Holiday Inn Corby/Kettering, situated on Geddington Road and the A43, also offers innovative fitness facilities alongside the fully equipped gym, including various classes such as boxercise, spinning and aqua aerobics; a beauty spa and indoor swimming pool.
A full-service hotel, with various dining options including 24-hour room service, it also offers free car parking on site and complimentary hi-speed wifi throughout the venue. The facility will form part of the 110-bedroom IHG hotel, which also includes dining options, luxury spa treatment rooms, a fully equipped gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, and six spacious meeting rooms.
