Technology proves to be a breath of fresh air

Health technology company Air for Life (AFL) specialises in air purification systems that destroy 99.9% of pollutants.

The firm’s air purification consumer products are available worldwide and include the AFL Wall Mount Unit®,  the AFL Car Sanifier® and the AFL Mini Sanifier® together with AFL’s protective Face Mask.

Air pollution is on the increase; estimates suggest that it is the cause of between 28,000 and 36,000 deaths in the UK alone.  Recent research by the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in the UK found that face masks had a leakage rate of between 7% and 68%. Although masks meet local and  international standards they may not be as effective in filtering out pollution particles and, therefore, will not provide adequate protection.

“Typically, most HEPA filters can only filter particles up to 0.3 microns, and as 99% of the particles we breathe are under one micron they will simply pass through,” said Jay Vitale, Founder and CEO of Air For Life.

“AFL Sanifiers® benefit from nano technology and begin their real work at 0.1 microns and will work up to 0.001 microns, therefore destroying up to 99.997% of all harmful viruses, bacteria, fungi, VOCs and contaminants.”

Ergonomically designed, the AFL Mask® contains a unique four-stage antibacterial nano silver ion filtration technology. It also contains an electric fan for a continuous flow of fresh air and has a one-touch control offering two fan speeds and includes a chargeable USB offering four to six hours of battery life.

The AFL CAR Sanifier®’s state-of-the-art automotive engineered design blends perfectly into any car, providing NASA Developed AFLPCO® Technology and AFL Plasma® Ionisation Technology. It cleans and sanitises the car interior as well as protecting passengers from inhaling toxic pollutants from exhaust fumes.

The Mini Sanifier® is a filterless germicidal purifier and ioniser that fights household germs by cleaning and sanitising the air in rooms up to 320 square feet in size. It is ideal for nurseries, bedrooms, pet rooms and playrooms protecting rooms from germs, viruses, aeroallergens, and harmful pollutants in the air and on surfaces.
