All the gear and all the ideas – fans get to feel the racing buzz

July for Whittlebury Park always brings a racing buzz! With Silverstone Circuit being such a short distance from our estate, we become a hub for F1 fanatics all revved up and excited to get in on the action.

Every year not only do we go bigger and better, but our campers also go above and beyond, showcasing some of the best set-ups a camper could. From mouthwatering munchies to perfect pitch-ups, honing in on hospitality excellence, and entertainment for everyone.

F1 food fanatics

Racing can build up quite the appetite, so we offered over 15 different food and drink outlets from some fantastic local businesses. From our new estate coffee hotspot, Forge Coffee, located in our Paddocks, which provided much-needed first-morning fuelling (just ask Valtteri Bottas), to delicious fresh Thai food from Baan Sabai Thai, serving up ultimate Spring Rolls and Pad Thai. But we can’t forget our culinary delights from the Atrium and Pavilion, where staff worked over 16 hours daily to bring the best to British F1 lovers. Campers could get set, grill, and go with gourmet burgers and hot dogs, or have a longer pit stop with pizza and pimp-your-own pasta, the perfect set-up to satisfy taste buds and fuel any hungry racer. It was thirsty work watching those races, so Wets of Wheels had the solution for satisfying any cocktail cravings with Happy Hours all weekend, and there were plenty of pints for cheering with friends from our beer tent.

Entertainment made easy

At Whittlebury Park we treat the British Grand Prix almost like festival vibes, there’s always something going on, from live music on the stage, talks, photography moments with some special guests, an F1 simulator or live sports on the big screen. There are pop-up shops for food and drink needs, or perhaps that last-minute Lando or Lewis merchandise because one more hat in your collection is never too much. We make sure in those moments when the track goes quiet, our engines are still revved up, loud and proud ready to celebrate the weekend!

Pitch up, then head for the pits

Every year, our campers get bigger and better. We witnessed everything from sports day set-ups with fluorescent tutus and headbands to ultimate party zones with light shows in the trees. There were RVs fit for royalty and glamping options for those who prefer a touch of luxury. This year we spoke to some of our campers, some of whom who have been coming to us for over 20 years, about why they chose Whittlebury Park and what gets their hearts racing for F1 weekend. Alongside the campers we all love the buzz and electric atmosphere that echos around the estate for the British Grand Prix and we can’t wait to welcome regular and new campers next year, let’s see how big we can be.

Hospitality headstarts

Across a very busy and bustling weekend, we looked after over 1,000 corporate hospitality guests within 15 different groups and across three venues on the estate. From brand activation, VIP filming, F1 driver interviews, VIP meet-and-greets, and evening drinks receptions, to plenty of very early welcome breakfasts. Nothing was too much of a challenge for our team who always pulled it out of the bag for the British Grand Prix, and whilst we were all very tired at the end, we are already planning and taking bookings for 2025.

From the moment the British Grand Prix ends, our team is ready to get set and go towards preparing for the next one, and as the highlight of our year, our Whittlebury Park team can’t wait to get stuck back into the action… perhaps we will see you at our starting line next year?
