BENTLEY RECOGNISED AS TOP EMPLOYER IN NATIONAL RANKING

LEADING construction consultancy Bentley has been recognised as one of the top businesses in the UK to work for, securing a spot in the prestigious Best Companies rankings for the first time.

The fast-growing firm has been ranked 33rd in the Top 50 Best Small Companies to Work for in the UK, alongside achieving 8th place in the Top 35 Best Companies in the East Midlands. The team also secured 8th place in the Top 15 Best Companies in its sector.

Melanie Noble, people and operations director at Bentley, said: “This is a really exciting time for the team at Bentley and being included in the Best Companies rankings for the first time seems like the perfect way to bring 2025 to a close.

“It is testament to the culture we have here, which our team has played a crucial role in building, and it’s something we are very proud of.”

The awards come following an ‘Outstanding’ accreditation from Best Companies earlier this year following a survey of the firm’s employees.

Bentley offers its team a wide range of benefits, including access to enhanced maternity and paternity pay, an employee assistance programme, fertility treatment leave and pregnancy loss leave.  Team members also receive discounts on retail, restaurants and gym membership and the opportunity to undertake paid volunteering opportunities.

Jonathon Bentley, managing director, added: “This has been an important year for Bentley; we have made changes to our structure to support our longer-term strategic plan, as well as recently opening a new London office to strengthen our presence across the South East.

“Being recognised as a great place to work in our sector, as well as nationally, is something we are really proud of as we continue to invest in our people and culture as part of our growth strategy.”

The Best Companies rankings are based entirely on employee feedback, measuring engagement across areas such as leadership, wellbeing, personal growth and workplace culture.

Bentley’s strong performance across the UK, regional and sector-specific lists reflects its commitment to building a business where people can thrive, while delivering high quality outcomes for clients across the built environment.
