Northampton Town staged the club’s 125th anniversary dinner on Sunday September 4, when hundreds of guests packed into the County Ground alongside a number of club legends as 125 years of history was celebrated.
Among those to take to the stage were the Bowen family, Graham Carr, Wakeley Gage, Steve Massey, Steve Phillips, Phil Chard, Ian Benjamin, Eddie McGoldrick, Ian Sampson, Ray Warburton, Colin Calderwood, Kelvin Langmead, Chris Dunn, Scott McGleish, Marc Richards, Jon Brady, Barry Stonhill, Dick Underwood and current Chairman, Kelvin Thomas.
In addition, video messages were played from Chris Wilder, Charlie Goode, John-Joe O’Toole, Sean Dyche, Phil Cavener, Andy Woodman, Sam Hoskins, Trevor Morley and Pete Walton.

As the season goes on, the Cobblers head into its home Papa John’s Trophy fixture games and will be welcoming Arsenal U21s to Sixfields on Tuesday October 18, when there is a special matchday hospitality offer for those supporters who want to enjoy the game in style.

As part of the national network of FA Girls’ Emerging Talent Centres, in partnership with the Premier League, the FA’s Emerging Talent Centre at Northampton Town is designed to provide an opportunity for girls aged U12, U14 or U16 to take the next step on the new Female Talent Pathway, whilst continuing to play for their grassroots clubs.
The centre will be delivered by experienced and FA qualified coaches and is one of just 60 FA Licensed Emerging Talent Centres in the country.
