The residents at Richmond Villages Northampton are spoilt for choice when it comes to how they can fill their time within this sociable retirement community, offering a wealth of fabulous facilities and activities on its doorstep.
The busy activity team is led by Chris Rayatt, who has been with Richmond Villages for over 15 years and who organises a host of spectacular activities and events throughout the year to suit a wide range of interests and tastes. Themed gala dinners, festivals, seasonal fayres, fitness classes, book clubs, choir practice, Model Railway Group… the residents’ calendar has never looked so good!
Chris said: “Richmond Villages Northampton prides itself on providing an aspirational lifestyle, where a game of croquet on the lawn, indulgent meals in the restaurant, trips to the theatre and exciting activities are part of the everyday”.
For those that like living life at a steadier pace, the village boasts calming spaces such as the peaceful library brimming with books, internet access for computer whizzes and cosy lounges for reading, completing puzzles and crafting. Outside, there are splendid terraces leading from the restaurant and bar area to beautifully manicured gardens. Visitors can join residents for coffee in the Coffee Shop and meet other residents living in the village.
The village thrives on generations coming together to create new experiences and capture memories; nearest and dearest are very welcome to join residents in their new life. There’s private dining available to hire for a special occasion and key dates in the calendar, when the doors are open to all, including themed fetes, dog shows, classic car shows, garden parties and artisan fayres. Everyone is welcome to attend.
