Partnership continues for another season

Milton Keynes Dons have announced a new one-year extension with Official Technology Partners, CMC Communications.

The deal will see the Milton Keynes-based IT solutions company continue their partnership with the club, in this form, through to a fourth season.

As Official Technology Partners, CMC Communications will continue to support Stadium MK across areas of IT and communications, in a bespoke package unique to MK Dons.

MK Dons Chairman Pete Winkelman said: “We have never had a greater reliance on technology than through the past 18 months and CMC Communications have been fantastic in ensuring our business could continue through the pandemic, in an effective but affordable way.

“We are so grateful for their support and look forward to working with them again this season.”

Simon Wright, Managing Director at CMC, said:

“Our partnership with the club means a lot to the business.

“As a leading technology business in Milton Keynes, it’s vital that we have this strong link with its local football club and we see our partnership with MK Dons as a key part of our strategy to grow the business, as we hopefully come out of the pandemic.”

CMC Communications

CMC Communications specialises in making technologies work together, working with clients to join the dots between mobile, office and the internet.

This joined-up view of how a client’s business operates ensures the correct connectivity can be put in place to make it work even better.

It’s very easy for a business to grind to a halt without reliable infrastructure and the right back-up and technical expertise to fix problems quickly and efficiently.

The company has a team of 15 engineers and a wealth of technical know-how on tap, ready to support clients and keep their businesses ticking over.

CMC Communications works closely with key partners such as Microsoft, Cisco and Gamma, whose products and solutions are industry
leading and built from the ground up utilising the very latest cloud management tools,
meaning clients can concentrate on what they do best, safe in the knowledge that their systems are secure, reliable and accessible from anywhere, all within one manageable cost.

CMC Sales Director, Phil Glenister, said:

“Our cloud-based solutions can be tailored to any business need and can be deployed quickly and easily to provide the client with immediate visibility, security and control.

“We call it ‘cloud-ready infrastructure’ because it’s about getting the foundations right, whether you’re ready to move your business into the cloud or not. We can present you with the best options, selected from a range of leading suppliers, to ensure your business can stay connected in the most reliable and affordable way.”

As part of its continued involvement with the football club, CMC Communications will, once again, sponsor MK Dons’ hospitality areas at Stadium MK, including clubRed, clubGold,
clubPlatinum and clubBlack, which reopened last month for the pre-season friendly with Tottenham Hotspur.

Phil Glenister added: “We have always enjoyed bringing our clients along to the matchday hospitality at MK Dons, so have really missed being able to do this over the last year or so.

“We find the matchday hospitality experience is second to none and really helps us build even stronger relationships. We can’t wait to bring our clients to the games this season.”

CMC Communications

MK Dons Commercial Manager Andy Wooldridge said: “Having worked closely with CMC over the last three years, I am delighted that we have managed to agree an extension to their partnership.

“With our hospitality areas back open this season, this is a fantastic opportunity for them to benefit from their matchday exposure to the many businesses who will be coming to Stadium MK.”
