Developing a clearer picture of the services on offer

After reaching a point where it had grown to three companies, working together and independently to provide individual specialist services to clients across the region and beyond, Simply Business Services has been launched to deliver increased efficiency for new and existing clients.

Two years ago this month, Simply Techspace and Simply Workspace came together to offer a complete office solution, from design and fit out of a workplace to the installation and management of IT services and connectivity.

Continued growth saw the advent of Simply Commspace earlier this year, separating the communications specialisms from technological expertise. 

Now, Directors Jon Bautista and Matt Dann have launched Simply Business Services and announced the appointment of Jay Neal-Edlington as Group Development Manager to support future growth by making sure all new and existing clients have a clear picture of what is available through the group of companies.

Jon Bautista said: “Simply Commspace, Simply Techspace and Simply Workspace continue as usual but we felt like we’d grown to the point where we needed to think carefully about our strategy as we move the business to the next stage.

“There’s a clear synergy between the three arms of the business and very often there’s collaboration between two or more areas. If a Simply Workspace client, for instance, is moving or refurbishing their premises, we introduce them to the services of Simply Techspace and Simply Commspace so that they can not only redo their office, they can include all their IT and communications needs at the same time, reducing disruption and working with one point of contact.

“The fact is, though, that we sometimes find that clients who deal with one side of the business only might not be aware of the full range of services we offer. We brought Jay in to support our future growth, she will be going out and talking to clients, and potential clients, and making sure that they understand the potential benefits of working with us as three closely collaborating businesses.”

Developing a clearer picture of the services on offer

Under the umbrella of Simply Business Services, the three businesses embrace the motto of Connect Support Grow – not only collaborating with one another but bringing all their expertise together where clients most need it.

Simply Commspace focuses specifically on telephony and business mobiles, offering leased lines and broadband and connectivity for business via its own cloud-based system through Ericsson and LG. It also provides hardware and mobile contracts with the likes of O2, Vodafone and EE, as well as handsets and headsets, staff mobiles and radios.

Simply Techspace focuses on digital technology, providing easy and efficient solutions through software, hardware, cabling, IT support and cyber security; while Simply Workspace offers workplace solutions from a complete office fit-out to refurbishment or reconfiguration, or simply installing new flooring or furniture.

Clients range from small independent companies to large multinationals and, increasingly, developers and construction professionals that see the benefit of being able to call upon a range of specialists via one point of contact. 

Focusing strongly on networking between local companies, Simply Business Services has recently been announced as headline sponsor of PropConnect, a property and construction-based networking group in Northamptonshire.

Matt Dann said: “No one else really does what we do, offering all those services under one umbrella group and we are proud of how we’ve built the company over the past two years. We weren’t sure when we started how successful we would be and we never thought we would be in the position we’re in now after just two years, and we need to build on that.

“Because we’ve put a great team together, and we’ve got new levels of management in place, Jon and I can work more on the business; it has given us the time to develop our strategy and focus on growth areas and delivering our services to a wider client base.

“Jay has joined us to help us shout about what we do. Her role will be to meet clients and other professionals in the sector and make them fully aware of what we do and what the benefits are to working with three specialist companies that come together to provide a complete business solution.

“She is keen to get out there and meet anyone that wants to find out more about what we do and how they can work with us. We want to do bigger things in bigger areas, and we now feel we have a team in place that will help us do that.”
