Northamptonshire Food & Drink Week is shaping up to be an unmissable celebration of the county’s culinary talent, award- winning producers and independent hospitality scene.
Organised by Made in Northamptonshire and the Northamptonshire Tourism Business Network, and generously supported by Wilson Browne Solicitors, the Food & Drink Week will showcase everything from celebrity chef-hosted dinners and behind-the-scenes tours, to street food, cocktails, vineyard wine tastings and more.
Designed to champion all things local, the organisers hope residents and visitors alike will explore the breadth of flavour, creativity and community that defines Northamptonshire’s food and drink culture. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or just looking for a great day out, the week offers something for everyone.
At the heart of the programme is the much-loved Delapré Food Festival, taking over the grounds of Delapré Abbey on June 7 and 8. With a handpicked line-up of artisan stalls, street food, demos and children’s activities, it’s the perfect blend of family fun and foodie indulgence.
Elsewhere, the county plays host to a range of exciting experiences. Dan Merriman, winner of MasterChef: The Professionals 2024, takes over Ember Restaurant for two intimate evenings of six-course dining – an exclusive chance to enjoy his award-winning cuisine in a local setting.
Meanwhile, at Jeyes of Earls Barton, a special Fiery Mustard menu adds historical spice in honour of the Great Fire of Northampton commemoration. The Four Pears in Little Houghton joins in the action with a locally inspired tasting menu from acclaimed chef James Peck.
In Towcester, Wharf Distillery is a hotspot for two standout events: a cocktail night with expert mixers Sip ‘n’ Swig, and the Founder’s Tour, hosted by Laurence Conisbee, offering an insider’s look – and taste – at how the spirits are made.
Phipps Brewery’s contribution to the celebration is a special offer on cheese and charcuterie platters, curated in collaboration with Northampton Cheese Co and Northampton Charcuterie, while Stoneyfield Vineyard invites guests to sip wines among the vines with open garden seating and relaxed guided tours.
Adding even more flavour to the line-up are exciting new restaurant arrivals, including the Fat Crab & Cocktails at The Red Lion in Cranford – bringing fresh seafood and big flavour to the county’s table.
With events taking place all around the county – from hidden gems to celebrated venues – Northamptonshire Food & Drink Week 2025 is a delicious excuse to eat local, drink well, and celebrate the county’s growing food reputation.
