Experience the magic of Christmas through the ages at one of the Northampton’s oldest buildings. With exceptional food and drink plus a host of memorable activities, Delapré Abbey is much more than an historic house – it is a destination for great food and drink with community development, wellbeing and sustainability at its core.

Nestled just a mile south of Northampton’s town centre, the popular historic house offers an idyllic setting for winter celebrations. Its grand and atmospheric rooms, award-winning food and 550 acres of serene parkland make it a perennial favourite.

The Trust has launched its popular Christmas parties offer for businesses looking to get their bookings in for winter 2023. They can treat their teams to a stylish, tastebud-tingling festive feast with a Christmas party package including welcome drinks, three-course dinner, music and festive decorations. Relax and unwind in the historic 19th century dining room with a traditional Christmas dinner before dancing next door in the picture-perfect drawing room – a stunning backdrop for capturing moments with colleagues.

Prices start from £50 per person and available dates include Friday and Saturday November 24 and 25, Monday December 4, Friday December 8, Saturday December 9, Monday December 11 and Saturday December 16.

Festive dining is also on the menu with a very special Hibiscus lunch served on Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout December in the opulent surroundings of the Billiard Room, with views stretching across the South Lawn. Prices start from £25.95 per person.

Additionally, on Thursdays and Fridays throughout December, Hibiscus is offering light bites inspired by the 12 Days of Christmas. Prices start from £40 per person including a glass of mulled wine on arrival.

AA-rosette awarded Hibiscus was recognised for its community work and commitment to sustainability, winning Booker Dining Venue of the Year at the 2022/23 Weetabix Food and Drink Awards, where Executive Head Chef at Delapré Abbey Preservation Trust, Bart Polinski, was also awarded Chef of the Year. The food and ambience continue to garner high praise from diners commenting on the high-quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail that goes into each and every dish.
