Following some fantastic engagement over recent months and years, Bedford Blues’ charitable arm, Blues Foundation is delighted to return with another Community Rugby Camp to be held over February half term at Goldington Road.
More than 500 young people have joined for various school holiday activation in the past two years; enhancing and learning new skills as well as re-introducing key elements of sport which were otherwise largely missing in that period due to the extremely stringent COVID-19 regulations.
This next Rugby Camp will take on the usual renowned format, and will bring together a perfect blend of experience and knowledge to focus on the key elements of rugby in a fun and safe environment.
Additionally, there will be numerous team building, resilience, friendship building and enrichment segments across all days, delivered through a variety of fun games and activities.
This three-day Rugby Camp will be held at Goldington Road (MK40 3NF) between Tuesday February 14 and Thursday February 16. Each day will last from 10am to 3pm with early drop off and late pick-up options available.
For ages between six and 12 years old, with all ability levels welcomed, this is the perfect option to work with first-class, highly experienced coaches on skills development within a rugby setting.
Prices have been frozen from those before the merger of Blues Foundation and Blues Community. This means the three-day camp is available for £70, with the £10 discount still available for Junior Blues members as before.
Blues Foundation is aware of the increased measures brought in following the pandemic and will continue to operate with preventative measures including the readily available supply of hand sanitiser to ensure safety of staff, parents and participants.
