High-quality industrial unit on track for delivery

Regional property development and investment company Hampton Brook is on site at Towcester delivering a 40,000 square foot high-quality industrial unit, including over 4,000 square feet of offices, to meet the needs of the local occupiers looking to relocate into modern fit-for-purpose premises.

The warehouse is on track for completion at the end of March and will provide much-needed warehousing space for the mid-box warehouse market. One of the few speculative developments of a unit under 100,000 square feet  in the region, Axess Towcester will energy efficient, modern facilities.

Hampton Brook is determined to lead the way not only in identifying opportunities for speculative developments across the region, but also to embed sustainability measures from the very beginning.

The company uses environmentally friendly technology across all its developments and is proud that Axess Towcester benefits from a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions over the 2013 Building Regulations, ensuring a reduction in costs to the occupier.

The building boasts both a BREEAM Very Good and EPC A rating. The site incorporates six EV charge points and 26 secure cycle parking spaces, PV roof panels, 10% roof lights to maximise natural lighting, high performance insulated cladding and roof materials and a low air permeability design. It also has motion sensor LED lighting, water regulation technologies and has been built with a focus on responsible sourcing.

Recent successful projects from Hampton Brook across the region include the development of two industrial units at Knowlhill in Milton Keynes totalling 48,000 square feet, where Hampton Brook delivered a high office content bespoke HQ for Essanet, alongside a speculatively developed warehouse, which was let shortly after completion to Arnold Laver Timber. In February, they celebrated the opening of a  new Sainsbury’s store at  Magnetic Park, Desborough, Northamptonshire, which was designed to be as energy efficient as possible.

The company also purchased and completed a full Grade A refurbishment of the former Monarch Airlines building at London Luton Airport, totalling 36,900 square feet where Wizz Air has now agreed a new lease on the first floor of 12,601 square feet. They join the airport operator London Luton Operations Ltd on the second floor.

Also in Luton, Hampton Brook delivered a new Aldi food store on Gipsy Lane, which opened at the end of last year.
