Leading regional law firm, Howes Percival has announced 14 senior promotions in the East Midlands, including three new partners, Alexandra Hornsby, Nick Benton, Jennifer Laskey.
Alishia Marrocco, Gary Pitt, Owen Franks, Jeremy Hyde, Lucy Elianu, Ben Hancox, Danielle Chetwynd, Miles Barnes and Jasmine Mason have all been promoted to the level of Director. William Taylor and Kiran Vohra have been made senior associates.

Alexandra Hornsby – specialism: wills, probate, tax and trusts (Leicester)
Alexandra advises wealthy individuals and business owners on estate planning and succession matters, including complex inheritance tax and capital gains tax issues. Alexandra is also experienced in advising trustees, drafting and administering trusts, and dealing with estate administration. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Nick Benton – specialism: employment law (Leicester)
Nick has experience in all aspects of employment law including both contentious and non-contentious matters. Nick advises employer clients in respect of all HR issues as well as assisting clients with employment tribunal claims. Nick has a particular interest in employment status and matters which arise for employers in respect of this issue. He also advises and assists clients with employment-related health and safety issues.
Jennifer Laskey – specialism: contentious probate (Northampton and Milton Keynes)
Jennifer is ACTAPS (The Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists) qualified and advises clients in Will disputes, claims against Estates, challenges to Will validity and issues arising from the administration of Trusts. Jennifer has also represented clients in a rare Presumption of Death application. As well as acting for Executors or Trustees and beneficiaries in Wills and Trusts disputes, Jennifer has been appointed as Trustee on a number of multi-million pound Trusts and can act as an Independent Administrator or Trustee.
