Keynote speakers and special guests have been announced for the upcoming Social Circle MK event taking place in September.

Sukhi Gill, Town Deal Investment Lead at Milton Keynes City Council, will be the guest speaker at the forthcoming event where she will share insights into investing in Bletchley and the importance of the Oxford – Cambridge Corridor, bringing business to the area.

This will be the second in a series of events planned as part of the new networking initiative following its successful launch, attracting business leaders from across the region and aimed at helping to boost business growth.

The second Social Circle MK session will take place on Wednesday September 10, at Challenge House, Sherwood Drive, Bletchley, between 6pm and 7.30pm. Serviced office space specialist Landmark launched its Social Circle MK initiative at its premises, Challenge House, a popular business hub in the area and home to multiple industry-leading companies, charities and organisations operating regionally and globally.

Speaker Sukhi, who is Project Manager on the Town Deal Regeneration programme, promoting inward investment and engaging with the business community to enhance the local economy, will lead the Social Circle MK session and, following her talk, there will be a question and answer session.

Sukhi said: “Bletchley is strategically positioned within the Ox-Cam Corridor, with regeneration and East Rail upgrades, making it a compelling choice for investors and businesses. It’s a location primed for both connectivity and prosperity.”

It is anticipated business leaders from across the region will attend the event which will also be attended by Milton Keynes Mayor James Lancaster. Key decision makers from companies based at Challenge House and across the Bletchley and Milton Keynes business community have been invited to join together at the exclusive event.

The inaugural Social Circle MK meeting welcomed Iain Standen, CEO of Bletchley Park Trust, as its first guest speaker at the launch earlier this year where Bletchley Built for Business was the theme of the event. Iain shared leadership and strategy insights from a celebrated career spanning both business and the military at the successful launch event.

Iain said: “It was my pleasure and privilege to be invited as the guest speaker at the inaugural event to launch the new Social Circle MK at Challenge House in Bletchley. It was great to be able to share with everyone what Bletchley Park is all about and what visitors can expect when they visit. But also, to reflect on why Bletchley is a great place for business at the moment. Knowledge sharing and networking events like this initiative benefit the business community in the area and I was delighted to be able to be there.”

Places are still available to book for this month’s prestigious event as organisers of the networking initiative celebrate its launch and continue to plan to build on its success.
