MHA, a leading accountancy firm and UK member of Baker Tilly International, proudly celebrates the 10-year anniversary of Anne Edmonds, Tax Manager, at the firm’s Milton Keynes office. Anne’s dedication and expertise have made a lasting impact on both colleagues and clients throughout her career.
Reflecting on her decade with MHA, Anne shares what has kept her motivated: “I’ve really enjoyed the variety of clients and challenges that I have had and the experience I have accumulated.”
Over the years, Anne has built strong professional relationships, staying connected with colleagues from across her career. “I’ve worked with some incredible people over the years, and I’m still in touch with people I worked with from when I first started in tax, almost 30 years ago. I’ve loved watching our tax staff come in as quiet trainees and blossom into confident and competent managers.”
Anne’s journey in tax started with a bold career shift. “I first started in a small firm in accounts and audit, so the move to tax was challenging, but I’ve loved it. There’s never a dull moment, and you have to work to keep up to date with all the changes and fresh interpretations arising from tax cases.”
One of her proudest achievements has been shaping the MK tax team, particularly through recent integrations as part of the move to MHA’s flagship office at The Pinnacle. “We’re a big team now in our lovely new offices, with stunning views over Milton Keynes. It’s been challenging but rewarding, combining processes and taking best practices forward.
MHA is incredibly grateful for Anne’s commitment and contributions over the past decade. As she continues her journey with the firm, we look forward to seeing her inspire and mentor the next generation of tax professionals.
