Getting down to the nitty gritty of business doesn’t have to mean foregoing elegance and comfort – as Harrowden Hall at Wellingborough Golf Club proves only too well.
The beautiful building, which has a history dating back to the 15th Century, is the club house for the championship course. It also provides conference facilities that combine the modern with the traditional, and which offer the flexibility to accommodate any size of gathering, from a small board meeting to a black-tie function.
Most of the rooms enjoy picturesque views over Harrowden Hall’s formal gardens or the magnificent course, and have been recently refurnished to provide everything necessary for a successful business meeting, conference or event. The rooms are all located within the main house and a lift is available, if required, to the first floor.
The Vaux Room has five large picture windows overlooking the stunning gardens and golf course, while the adjacent President’s Room shares the same stunning views. The Captain’s Room, overlooking the gardens at the front of the hall is served by an impressive large dining table. For slightly smaller groups, there’s the Committee Room and the Leather Room, and a comfortable lounge and bar provides somewhere to relax during breaks and after the work is done.
Each room has natural daylight, and each is well equipped with wifi, mains sockets, flip charts, 65” screens and overhead projectors. Data projectors are available for hire on request. Room options range from theatre style (in the Vaux, Captain’s and President’s rooms), U-shape, boardroom, private dinner and private function.
To help organisers find the best option and configuration to suit the size and type of meeting, seminar or conference they are looking to hold, and to help with additional requirements and arrangements, the club’s experienced and dedicated Events Team are always on hand to advise. Packages that include business followed by a round of golf, possibly lunch, or dinner in the evening, are available, and can be created bespoke to suit the organiser and their guests.
