Pall-Ex Group has strengthened its commercial team by welcoming a new Business Development Manager to its ranks.
Helen Day will primarily be focussing on the Fortec Distribution Network in her new role, and brings with her a wealth of industry knowledge, having begun her journey in the logistics sector in 1993.
Since then, she has worked for a number of leading businesses and has won contracts with several highly regarded, blue-chip organisations and specialised in offering bespoke logistics services to clients moving freight between the UK and Ireland for a number of years.
Helen will be hoping to replicate this previous success in her new role with Pall-Ex Group, as she is tasked with developing the portfolio of corporate clients for Fortec, based at Watford Gap, as well as for its shareholder membership.
Operating between the Fortec offices at Watford Gap, Northamptonshire and at Pall-Ex Group’s head office in Ellistown, Leicestershire, Helen is looking forward to the challenge of the new role.
She said:
“I have been a part of the industry for a while now and I really enjoy the fast-paced environment and the constant challenges every day brings. Finding solutions for my customers is what makes me love this job!
“In what has been an exciting seven months for the network, I am looking forward to playing my part in increasing the pallet volumes for the business and therefore helping the network grow as its journey continues.”
