London-based consultancy allpoints is helping drive a new wave of innovation in the global events industry by empowering the next generation of event entrepreneurs. Its founder, Max Fellows, has served as a special advisor, lead consultant partner, and soon-to-be judge/investor for the inaugural Ignite: BeFuture Start-Up Pitches at IBTM World 2025, taking place from 18–20 November at Fira Barcelona Gran Via.
Fellows has played a pivotal role in providing strategic guidance, expert curation and investor alignment for the event, which will see 36 emerging event entrepreneurs from across Europe pitch, Dragons’ Den-style, for the chance to secure millions in funding and mentorship. During the live sessions, finalists will face a fast-paced Q&A, with one crowned IBTM Ignite Innovator of the Year and others gaining international visibility, investor connections, and potential collaboration within the allpoints innovation network.
The initiative is also creating a new community of investors and innovators shaping the future of the events industry. Fellows will host the programme, bringing his deep expertise in event tech, experience design, and scalable innovation.
