Its generous response to the Northamptonshire #TechTogether campaign was a continuation of the efforts of HORIBA UK in giving something back to the community and encouraging young people in education.
Having long been an advocate of promoting STEM education, HORIBA UK, with headquarters on Moulton Park in Northampton, leapt at the chance to donate 19 laptops to the campaign. #TechTogether was launched in January by All Things Business, ACS and the Nene Education Trust to provide laptops and devices to children and families struggling to cope with home schooling without the equipment they needed.
The HORIBA Group operates in 27 countries and is comprised of 49 companies worldwide and provides an extensive range of instruments and systems for applications ranging from automotive R&D, process and environmental monitoring, in-vitro medical diagnostics, semi-conductor manufacturing and metrology, to a broad range of scientific R&D and QC measurements.
Since its foundation in 1945 in Kyoto, Japan, HORIBA has supported social progress with its cutting-edge technologies and engineering services and has contributed to the evolvement of science and technology and the preservation of the environment.
