Recognition of commitment to growth

Howes Percival is once again delighted to have been recognised in the Professional Services Award at this year’s Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards.

The accolade reflects our unwavering dedication to fostering growth – not only within the business but also in the Milton Keynes community we are proud to be a part of.

We strive to make ‘life more sure’ for our clients beyond the technical scope of our work. We are great lawyers, but our work goes beyond that – we are invested in the lives of our clients and their businesses. We want to increase our clients’ confidence in their decisions by giving reassurance so they can focus on looking after their business.

Our confidence in the city’s economic prospects means we will continue our investment and growth in our Milton Keynes office. Over the past 24 months, we have expanded by adding an another 15 talented individuals to our team. These new recruits have already made significant contributions, and we anticipate further additions that will bolster our existing capabilities to ensure we are able meet the requirements of our clients and the MK market.

Our outreach programme promotes diverse career paths and improves social mobility. In 2025 alone, as a firm, we have recruited 13 apprentices through the programme.

We are deeply committed to the development and success of Milton Keynes, both through our professional services and extensive community involvement. We support local businesses in navigating complex legal landscapes, empowering them to thrive and contribute positively to the local economy.

Howes Percival is once again delighted to have been recognised in the Professional Services Award at this year’s Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards.

We build confidence in the businesses we work with, taking care of their legal needs and, allowing them to focus on developing their business and, by extension, Milton Keynes. We are a business that contributes positively to our local community. Recent CSR initiatives include: Charity Recycling MK, Baby Basics donations, Al’s Pals fundraising, MK SNAP gala dinner sponsorship, hosting SportsAid events, organising an International Women’s Day afternoon tea, and various MK Food Bank fundraising activities. Our community outreach programmes aim to inspire and support individuals locally, providing them with opportunities to build successful careers.

As we look to the future, our focus remains on developing innovative solutions to better serve our clients while enhancing their overall experience. Initiatives such as the integration of AI, robotic process automation (RPA), and advanced CRM systems enable us to work more efficiently, allowing us to dedicate more time to supporting our clients’ broader business goals.

This recognition at MKBAA 2025 is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and our strong ties to the Milton Keynes community. Our commitment to training and development, alongside the recruitment of apprentices through our outreach programme, ensures we continue to grow and support both our clients and the region.

I would also like to acknowledge the other worthy finalists, whose contributions to Milton Keynes’ success and innovation inspire us all. We remain steadfast in our mission to foster the growth and success of Milton Keynes while driving innovation and excellence within the firm.
