A Northampton company successfully recruited teams from across the county to take part in a golf day that raised over £1,000 for local charities.
Wallace Hind Selection is a retained recruitment consultancy providing leading services to major organisations and SMEs across the UK, Europe and internationally. The fundraising event was held at Overstone Park Resort in Northampton in June, raising money for the Northampton Hope Centre and mental health support charity Kelly’s Heroes.
The weather managed to hold off for the majority of the day and all the teams headed out with smiles on their faces to enjoy some good golf. IanPeterson from Wallace Hind Selection and his teammates Dominic Drew, David Drew and Jim Wallace were the winning team, and Peter Davies took the individual prize, with David Drew in second place. The sale of raffle tickets, Mulligans and Beat the Zakk (a Wallace Hind-created game on the second hole) brought the total to an amazing £1,075 which will be shared between the two chosen charities, with each receiving £537.50.
