Take full advantage of the region’s new, versatile facility

As befits Milton Keynes’ new city status, The Chaffron Centre at Milton Keynes College represents possibly the most advanced facility in the region, enabling companies and educators to enjoy a modern enterprise that provides a versatile training, workspace, and meeting facilities.

Now fully open and fully equipped to support any business requirements, the new centre offers the region’s companies a first-class workspace and meeting facility, as well as range of corporate focused training opportunities.

According to the experts – Milton Keynes is set to be the fastest UK city for economic growth post-pandemic. Indications shows are that there are plenty of promising factors to explain why the city is bucking the trend and set to bounce back. One of which is the level of investment we have seen in its infrastructure and facilities, with more in the pipeline.

The Chaffron Centre is just one such investment. Supported by a £3.5m Government grant, the centre will be operated in partnership with Milton Keynes College and the South Central Institute for Technology, together with local enterprise partners.

Users of the centre can take advantage of some of the most advanced AI technology available, including Stratus systems, an industrial VR solution for the investigation of design flaws, a Cobotta programmable robot with camera vision, complete holographic viewing, and display systems as well as advanced workstations and interactive teaching aids

Each of the four main business rooms can be hired with or without the support of a central breakout space. And other facilities include two large multi-function rooms with seating capacity of up to 45 and 60 respectively, plus a boardroom suitable for up to 14 people. There are also smaller meeting rooms for a maximum of eight people.

With a capacity from just four to up to 200 delegates, these spaces can be hired room by room, floor by floor, or booked out as an entire private space, so is perfect for so many uses. So, whether you need a quiet place to run job interviews, need to stage a big presentation to a new client and want to impress, or just want to work away from the office, with or without colleagues, The Chaffron Centre is the perfect venue because there’s a space for hire that is right for you.

As you would expect, the rooms come equipped with the essential tools and modern technology needed for successful meetings, all easy to sync with laptops, such as interactive screens, whiteboards, AV projection. There is free wifi available throughout the building, and stationery and free tea and Nespresso coffee is provided – as much as you can drink!

The Chaffron Centre offers a full catering service, with food being made on site by a skilled hospitality team that is able to cover the smallest meeting to the largest delegate conferences. Parking is substantial and, importantly, free.

Dr Julie Mills OBE, CEO and Group Principal of MK College Group, said: “The Chaffron Centre gives our regional business community a premier focal point. This newly opened business centre offers a broad range of meeting rooms and workspaces, new advanced technologies and business focussed training and learning.”

The Chaffron Centre is open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and on weekends upon request and the team are happy to discuss individual requirements.
