The Falcon in Castle Ashby, a historic coaching inn dating back to 1597, is now owned and managed by Lord and Lady Northampton. This year, the hotel is delighted to launch Christmas Party packages that will be available from November 23 to December 23.
Hosted in the fine dining restaurant, Eyas, and with head chef Russell Bateman – who previously worked as head chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Pétrus restaurant – at the helm, the package includes a three-course meal with half a bottle of wine per person, plus carefully chosen Christmas novelties.
The sample menu (subject to change) includes a selection of starters including smoked organic salmon with nori seaweed; slow cooked duck with chicken and ham terrine; and a winter truffle risotto. For the main course, diners can choose from fell-reared chicken with thyme and chestnut stuffing; herb-crusted halibut; or leek, sorrel and seaweed with Hasselback potatoes.
For dessert there’s Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, chocolate and praline marquise or a selection of cheeses.
Bookings can be made for lunch or dinner for parties up to 40 people with exclusive use available. For larger gatherings, the sales team at The Falcon are available to discuss more options. Prices start from £135 per person on Wednesdays and Thursdays and from £165 per person on Fridays and Saturdays.
