Lorraine Lewis, co-founder of The Lewis Foundation, has been presented with a Paul Harris Fellowship by the Rotary Club of Nene Valley, along with a cheque for £2,500 to assist with the charity’s work supporting adult cancer patients in 14 hospitals across the East Midlands.
The Paul Harris Fellowship is awarded by Rotary to people who have shown outstanding support and commitment within their communities.
The Lewis Foundation was started in 2016 by Lorraine and Lee Lewis and in six years has grown from supporting one hospital to 14 cancer units, supplying free gifts and support packages to patients in hospital every week.
It now employs over 50 volunteers to source and supply these packages.
