Indigo Contracting, part of the Indigo Group, has appointed Matthew Bennett, Katie Hunston and Rhys Jenkins as Directors to spearhead its growth strategy.
The trio bring nearly 30 years of combined experience within the Indigo Group. Matthew will focus on developing the firm’s regional presence, with a particular focus on the south west of England and the M4 corridor, while Katie will grow a team from the firm’s headquarters in Teddington, further reinforcing Indigo Contracting’s position as a market leader in London.
These two roles will be supported by Group Operations Director, Rhys Jenkins, who also joins the Board of Directors. Rhys oversees operations in both London and Cardiff, ensuring the smooth running of the business. His expertise in compliance updates and software support plays a vital role in the company’s ongoing success. These leadership changes come at a crucial time, as Indigo Contracting sets its sights on significant expansion.
Discussing his plans, Matthew said: “We plan to open satellite offices in the west of England to strengthen and grow our existing network, with eventual expansion along the coast. We also intend to implement a similar strategy in west Wales.
“As part of our expansion plans, we aim to create over 15 new business development roles in the coming years to enhance our regional footprint and bring high-quality employment opportunities for local people.”

Katie explained Indigo Contracting’s mission: “We give business leaders more time to focus on their core operations by reducing the risks associated with engaging self-employed operatives. We manage all necessary industry compliance checks, alleviating the administrative burden for our clients.
“Indigo Contracting has been a leading commercial contractor across the UK for many years now, and I’m excited for continued growth. Whilst the London market presents different challenges to the regional market, it ultimately remains about people and quality, trusted relationships, which we’re great at.”
