Entries are now open for this year’s Northamptonshire Logistics Awards, the eighth year of the event, which recognises the important part companies and individuals in the logistics and warehousing sector play in the county’s economy.
Accountancy and advisory firm, MHA is once again the headline sponsor for the awards, which will take place on Friday, October 11 at the Northampton Town Centre hotel, where the business community will once again come together to celebrate and recognise the exceptional accomplishments in the industry. The compere for the evening will be Clare Bottle, CEO of the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA).
The awards were launched in March at John Lewis on Grange Park, where the first awards night was held back in 2016. A networking event to promote the event and hear from previous winners will be held at Europa Warehouse in Corby on Friday May 10 and is open to anyone who would like to attend.
A full list of the categories can be found on the Northamptonshire Logistics Awards website and includes Team of the Year, Unsung Hero of the Year, Logistics Temporary Staff Agency of the Year and the Diversity and Inclusion Award.
Headline sponsors MHA will be joined by category sponsors Brackmills BID, Dachser, DSV, More Driver Solutions, Northampton College, RHA, Route1 Group, Rushlift, UKWA, Woodfines Solicitors and Xtra Express. There are sponsorship opportunities still available for any organisation that is keen to support the event.
Awards Founder Charlotte Patrick said:
“So many people in this county are involved in what is a vital sector for the whole country. Conservative estimates are that one in seven people work in the industry, but our guess is that it’s even higher than that. They deserve to be recognised and have their achievements acknowledged, and we’re delighted that we’re back for another year, with many of our previous sponsors back on board once again. We really do rely on their support, and are so grateful to them and everyone else who helps make this event such a success.”
Adam Young, Partner at MHA said:
“Sponsorship of the Northamptonshire Logistics Awards offers a unique opportunity for us to support local industry. Having supported the awards for several years now, MHA is pleased to continue as headline sponsor for another year.
“With a diverse clientele ranging from budding entrepreneurs to established enterprises, MHA’s sponsorship reflects a commitment to applauding the excellence of local industry players at all levels.”
